PepsiCo has teamed up with Garage Italia Customs, which is headed by Giannial Agnelli’s grandson Lapo Elkann, to create a custom ‘Live For Now’ Fiat 500 for the upcoming Milan Design Week 2016.
The ‘Live For Now’ 500 of course features a red, white and blue Pepsi paint scheme, which is also continued in the 500’s cabin. Pepsi Blue film was used to cover the blue parts of the car, while a digitally printed film with street artist graphics covers the top. Candy Red film covers the rims and other trim details that would otherwise be chrome on a stock 500.
Inside Garage Italia has applied special DreamLux textile to the headliner and door panels, which light up thanks to optic fibres woven into the material. Other special features include a red, white and blue painted gear knob, 3D blue Foglizzo leather seats with a ‘bubble’ effect and special Pepsi globes woven into the headrests.
The Pepsi ‘Live For Now’ 500 will be on display at Pepsi’s ‘Mix It Up’ space at Superstudio 13 until April 17th, before being shipped to America where it will make appearances at various promotional events.
