Each year Chrysler 300 and Dodge Charger, Challenger and Magnum owners descend upon Southern California for the annual LX Spring Fest. The event is one of the largest gatherings of LX platform cars in the world, so naturally, Fiat Chrysler is sure to participate in the event and support its loyal customers and fans.
This year FCA decided to promote one of its newest products at LX Fest, the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica. However the majority of LX Fest participants are custom car enthusiasts and thus wouldn’t have much interest in a bone-stock minivan, so Chrysler set to work on making the Pacifica cool.
To do that, they equipped it with air-ride suspension and put it on a set of aftermarket wheels. They then brought the car to a shop to have the various trim pieces darkened and the headlights and taillights blacked out, giving the typically unassuming grocery-getter the full SEMA Show look.
Check out the video above for a behind the scenes look at building the custom Chrysler Pacifica and how the LX Fest attendees responded to the menacing-looking minivan.
