Hot on the heels of the 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk is the updated 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit, which will continue to serve as the most luxurious trim level of the Grand Cherokee mid-size SUV.
The exterior of the Grand Cherokee Summit has been elevated with a revised front fascia and chrome grille, LED foglights and 20-inch polished alloy wheels. The model will be available in Velvet Red, True Blue, Bright White, Ivory Pearl, Granite Crystal, Diamond Black Crystal, Light Brown Stone, and Luxury Brown.
The interior is where the majority of changes have happened, featuring Laguna leather seats with double welted piping and a Nappa leather wrapped dashboard, center console and door panels. A suede headliner, illuminated door sills, an acoustic windshield and side glass, active noise cancellation, Berber carpet mats, and an 825-watt, 19-speaker Harmon Kardon audio system add to the luxury treatment.
Other standard equipment includes auto-folding power mirrors, headlamp washers, blind-spot detection, forward collision warning, adaptive cruise control and a new lane departure warning system. Jeep’s Quadra-Drive II 4×4 system, an electronic limited slip differential, Quadra-Lift air suspension and Selec-Speed Control also come at no extra cost.
The 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit will arrive in Jeep showrooms this summer. Pricing has yet to be announced.
