The invention of the GoPro camera truly changed everything. Suddenly you didn’t need to have access to expensive camera equipment to take epic on-board and POV-type videos, making them incredibly abundant on the web.
Could the next big leap in the way we shoot video be 360-degree cameras? It sure seems that way, because each week we come across more and more of these interactive panoramic videos on Facebook and YouTube.
One of the more recent 360-degree videos we’ve come across is the one embedded above, which is from Scuderia Ferrari sponsor Santander. The Spanish bank strapped a 360-degeree camera to the top of Kimi Raikkonnen’s Ferrari, allowing us to come along for a lap and look every which way as we do so.
