Ram has unveiled the Ram 1500 Yellow Rose of Texas edition, a new limited-edition version of it’s half-ton pickup that will be exclusive to the state of Texas.
The 2016 Ram 1500 Yellow Rose of Texas edition will be easily identifiable thanks to its Stinger Yellow paint. This is actually the only feature on the pickup that sets apart from a standard Ram 1500, however the Yellow Rose of Texas edition will only be available in conjunction with 4×2 and 4×4 crew cab Lone Star models.
“Texas is truck country – Ram Truck country – and we’re committed to building products that resonate with our customers,” said Ram brand boss Mike Manley. “The importance of the Texas truck market cannot be overstated. That’s why the Ram Truck brand has worked year after year to deliver hard-working trucks that serve the communities across the Lone Star state.”
Ram also recently partnered with the Texas Rangers to “preserve and promote its history and heritage,” the automaker says.The company will support the Texas Ranger Hall of Fame and Museum and also recently released a Ram Texas Rangers concept truck to promote their new-found partnership with the organziariton, which will celebrate its 200th anniversary in 2023.
