Many of Jeep’s concepts for the 2016 Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah have been outrageous custom creations like the Crew Chief 715 and Trailcat, however the Jeep Wrangler Trailstorm Concept is one you can actually build for yourself.
The Wrangler Trailstorm features many parts customers can buy for their Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited from Jeep Performance. These parts include the 2-inch lift kit with Jeep Performance/Fox shocks, a Jeep Performance winch, Dana 44 front and rear axles, tire carrier and half doors. The 17-inch wheels are concept only, however, and are wrapped in huge 37-inch off-road tires.
Some other exterior enhancements shown on the Wrangler Trailstorm can be purchased through Mopar including the winch guard, Satin Black grille, LED headlights and fog lights, high top fenders, power-dome vented hood, off-road rock rails, big brake kit, and tail light guards. The front and rear bumpers are sourced from the Rubicon, while the fastback top is a concept product.
Under the hod of the camouflage Wrangler Trailstorm is a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine mated to a 5-speed automatic transmission.
