Last year Jeep unveiled the limited-edition Wrangler Red Rock, which is meant to pay tribute to the Red Rock 4-Wheelers off-road club that hosts the popular Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah each year. This year, Red Rock will celebrate the 50th edition of the Easter Jeep Safari, and Jeep just teased two of the very special custom Jeeps it will bring to the celebration.
The first of these concepts is the Jeep Wrangler Trailcat, which if we had to guess is a heavily upgraded Jeep Wrangler with the 707 horsepower 6.2-liter supercharged V8 from the Dodge Hellcat twins stuffed under the hood. The second, dubbed the Jeep Crew Chief’, is a bit more mysterious but looks like a military-inspired 1966 Jeep Gladiator to our eye.
Jeep has a lot more than three concept vehicles planned for the 50th edition of the Easter Jeep Safari considering they brought a total of six concept vehicles to the 49th edition of the off-road mecca last year. A total of seven vehicles are on deck for the 50th anniversary, so stay tuned as the event’s March 20th start date approaches.
