Jeep recently debuted seven special concepts it will bring to the 2017 Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah. The concepts are of course built to promote the Jeep brand and catch the interest of the loyal Jeep customers who attend Moab each year, but that’s not the only reason Jeep spends a small fortune building these special machines each year.
As Jeep CEO Mike Manley explains in the video above, Moab is sort of a ‘living lab’, allowing the automaker to put its various Jeep Performance and Mopar aftermarket parts to the test, along with some other unreleased concept products. Jeep owners in attendance can also give their feedback on the production and concept Jeep vehicles, allowing the company to better serve its customers going forward.
On top of these benefits, the concepts also improve Jeep’s image in the eye of the average consumer. The creations usually garner good amount of attention online, painting the Jeep brand as a fun-loving automaker that isn’t afraid to go wild and build something like the Wrangler Trailcat, for example. Check out the concepts and hear what Jeep has to say about them above.
