Last week Jeep unveiled its seven concepts for the 2016 Moab Easter Jeep Safari. Some were more attention-grabbing than others, like the Renegade-based Comanche pickup, but few commanded as much attention as the 707 horsepower, Dodge Hellcat-powered Jeep Wrangler Trailcat.
The Wrangler Trailcat is essentially a Jeep Wrangler two-door converted for rock crawling and off-roading with a Hellcat engine stuffed under its hood. Inside, the vehicle features viper competition bucket seats, a unique center-mounted compass and, best of all, three pedals and a manual transmission.
Jeep fans will definitely take a liking to the Wrangler Trailcat when it makes its Moab debut, and we have a feeling it will serve as the inspiration for similar builds going forward. Hear Fiat Chrysler rev-up its 6.2-liter V8 in the video below before it heads to Moab this week.
