Fiat Chrysler has brought back several throwback colors from its archives recently, such as the popular ‘Plum Crazy’ and ‘B5 Blue’. Now, they’ve re-introduced ‘Go Mango’ for the 2016 Dodge Challenger and Charger SRT, which was first introduced in the revered 1970 model year Dodge Challenger SRT.
Even if you weren’t alive in the 1970s to remember Go Mango, it will be a familiar sight. It was available on the Charger R/T Daytona in 2006, and was also recently introduced on the 2016 Dodge Dart. For the Challenger and Charger, it will be available exclusively on SRT 392 and Hellcat models.
“Powerful performance cars like our Dodge Charger and Challenger demand high-impact colors,” said FCA passenger car brand boss Tim Kuniskis. “Dodge muscle cars have a long history of unique paint colors with iconic names, and we’ll continue to reach back into our paint code archive to give our enthusiast customers what they want.”
Dealers may begin ordering Go Mango 2016 Dodge Challenger and Charger SRT models immediately, FCA says.
