In North America, an old Alfa Romeo is hard to come by. The easiest way to get yourself into a vintage Alfa is buy a Spider, but if you’re like us and you want to be different for the sake of being different, you want something a bit off the wall like a 164 V6 or a GTV6.
One of these said obscure North American Alfas, a Milano, recently went up for sale on Craigslist. Carscoops turned us onto this ad for the one-owner 1988 model year sedan and to be honest, we’re not sure what to think of it. The car itself is in good shape, but with 156,180 miles on the odometer, its been driven a good amount in its 28 years of life.
The other point dragging this car’s desirability down is its pricetag. The seller wants $12,500 for the car, which is on-par for a Milano in ‘Excellent’ condition by Hagerty’s standards (according to their car valuation tool). We wouldn’t describe this car’s condition as ‘Excellent’ but ‘Good’, placing its estimated value at $9,300, which is a much more realistic sum.
We’re big Alfa fans and we wouldn’t pay $12,500 for this Milano, so the seller will probably be hard pressed to find buyer willing to pay his desired entry fee. Check out the listing here and let us know what you’d be offer up for this 1 of 883 Italian four-door.
