The Fiat Tipo hatchback, sedan and station wagon have been priced following their worldwide debuts earlier this year. The Tipo sedan will start at €12,500 while the hatchback will start at €12,750 and the station wagon at €15,900.
For €12,500, the Tipo sedan will come equipped with Fiat’s 1.4-liter four-cylinder engine producing 95 horsepower, however a more powerful 120 horsepower 1.6-liter diesel engine is also available. The same two engine options are also available in the hatchback and station wagon.
The Tipo hatchback and station wagon also come equipped with four-wheel disc brakes as standard, while the sedan makes do with rear drum brakes. The entry-level trim line on all models, dubbed ‘Easy’, includes six airbags, hill start assist, ESP, a tire pressure monitoring system, rear parking sensors, fog lights and Fiat Chrysler’s Uconnect infotainment with AUX, USB and Bluetooth capabilities. The more upscale ‘Lounge’ trim level adds 17-inch alloy wheels, LED daytime running lights, a central armrest and electric lumbar adjustment.
Options on the Tipo sedan, hatchback and station wagon include a Safety Plus package (€350), which adds adaptive cruise control, a speed limiter, and PBA (Panic Brake Assist) and a Tech Lounge (€750) package that adds a rear parking camera and subscriptions to the services bundled with the Uconnect infotainment system.
