Just 30 examples of the Ferrari FXX were ever produced, so it would be big news if one was ever totaled. That’s never happened (as far as we know) but one FXX owner did put the limited-edition track-only supercar off the track at Monza recently, causing bad damage to the front end and front-left suspension.
While crashing an FXX is a tragedy, it’s definitely forgivable. The cars are not road-legal and are thus only ever driven on the track, and when you put Ferrari customers in an 809 horsepower track-spec supercar, you know things are going to get a little dicey. We’re actually surprised we don’t hear about crashed FXXs more often.
YouTube’s Pure Performance didn’t catch a video of said FXX crashing, but he did catch up with the car in the pits post-accident. His video shows the badly damaged front end of the unique black and orange FXX and then later shows it being whisked away on a flatbed truck. Check it out above.
