We’ve already showed you the ‘Swerve’ ad from Chrysler’s new presidential-themed ad campaign, so now it’s time to take a look at the other spot in the series, entitled ‘American-est.’
In this spot, Martin Sheen and Bill Pullman are again seen in roles similar to theirs in ‘The West Wing’ and ‘Independence Day’. Sheen attempts to prove how patriotic he is to Pullman, saying the ‘American people are Americans, y’know?’ and then proceeding to say that ‘everything I own is star spangled.’ He also makes mention of the 300’s all-wheel drive system and Napa leather.
The ad pokes fun at those presidential candidates that don’t seem to know all that much about politics, but say patriotic American things that the American people love to hear and thus receive support. Check it out in the video above, and let us know what you think in the comments below.
