The 2016 Dodge Durango is now available with Brass Monkey and Anodized Platinum appearance packages, giving customers more choice in regards to personalization when ordering the full-size SUV.
Dodge says the Brass Monkey appearance package is available on the Durango Limited model and adds 20-inch Burnished Bronze aluminum wheels, a Gloss Black grille and exterior badge, and monochromatic exterior components. Those familiar with Dodge’s lineup may recognize the Brass Monkey name, as it was first introduced last year on the Charger and Challenger SRT models.
The Anodized Platinum appearance package is only offered on the Durango Citadel and adds new 20-inch Satin Carbon aluminum wheels and a Platinum grille, exterior mirror caps, fog lamp bezels, exterior badge, door handles and lower sills. The automaker says the package gives the Durango Citadel, which is the second highest trim level offered on the vehicle, an “even more polished look.”
The Brass Monkey package adds $995 to the Durango Limited MSRP of $37,490, while the Anodized Platinum package raises the price of the $41,970 Durango Citadel by $1095. Both vehicles are available to order as of Thursday, February 11th, 2016 and will begin arriving at dealers by mid-2016. If you’re extra-eager to check it out, you can make a visit to the 2016 Chicago Auto Show, which will run from February 13th to the 21st.
