Anyone who’s driven a convertible knows that not having a roof over your head completely changes the driving experience. Driving a convertible is more than just feeling the wind through your hair and race past your ears, but being connected to the outside world, a fact Keith Helmetag, owner a 1969 Alfa Romeo Duetto Spider, knows all-too-well.
When Helmetag was shopping for a car, it was key that he bought a convertible. Being a lover the outdoors, he wanted to remain connected to nature while driving, making the Alfa Spide a perfect choice. He was also drawn to his particular Spider due to its green color as he “loves nature,” and “loves being outside.”
Petrolicious caught up with Helmetag and his wonderful Alfa Spider in their latest film for YouTube. It’s not an insanely valuable Ferrari like the channel sometimes features, but Helmetag’s love for his Alfa Romeo is a perfect example of what being a petrolhead is all about.
