New York City is slowly rebounding after the second-biggest snowstorm in the city’s history descended on Manhattan this weekend. It left many residents stuck in their homes, unable to get to work, which reminded us of how one YouTube user decided to spend his day when NYC got snowed in back in 2014.
Casey Neistat, a filmmaker based in NYC, took the streets in his Jeep when everybody else stayed in, however he wasn’t the one driving. He got a friend to pilot the black Wrangler through the narrow corridors of Manhattan while he hitched a ride behind it on his snowboard. The video of these snow day antics promptly went viral, and for good reason, because when do you ever seen someone snowboarding in NYC?
This isn’t the most recent snowboarding in NYC video from Neistat. He was inspired to create a second video of him shredding the city streets following this past weekend’s snowfall, which we have to say is even better this time as he had the full support of New York’s finest. Check out the original in the video above and scroll below for the sequel.
