Spy shots have given us a pretty good idea of what the 2017 Maserati Levante crossover will look like when it debuts, but until now, we had yet to see what its interior would look like.
New photos posted to Left Lane News have revealed aspects of the Levante’s cabin for the first time ever. It looks to be pretty standard Maserati fare, featuring parts and design characteristics seen in the Quattroporte full-size sedan. An updated version of Maserati’s infotainment system is expected to arrive in the Levante and can be seen peeking through a protective covering in the photos.
The Levante will ride on Maserati’s new rear-wheel drive platform that currently underpins the Ghibli and Quattroporte. It is also expected to feature a similar range of engines, with a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 serving as the base engine and a V6 diesel to be offered in Europe eventually. A plug-in hybrid variant may also be on the cards.
Check out the photos on Left Lane News ahead of the Maserati Levante’s potential debut at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show in March.
