You probably know Nick Mason as the genius drummer behind one of the greatest bands of all time, Pink Floyd. What you might not know about the musician, though, is that he has the Ferrari bug, and bad.
Mason’s Ferrari collection is knee weakening, groan-inducing stuff. 250 GTO? Check. F40? Check. 599 GTO? Check. 512 BB LM? Check. It’s one of the more notable Ferrari collections in the United Kingdom, and maybe even the world.
Also included in that roster is a LaFerrari. Mason’s example of the latest Ferrari flagship is painted in Tour de France Blue and features matching blue brake calipers, black wheel center caps and a beige interior.
Recently, Mason took the car out to the Goodwood Circuit in Chichester, United Kingdom to put the car through its paces. He had the help of 5 x Le Mans winner Emanuele Pirro, who even after driving some of the world’s fastest and most advanced racecars was excited at the prospect of driving Mason’s LaFerrari.
