We admit that even in our 20s we can’t help but play with an R/C car when in the presence of one. In fact, we have a Ferrari FXX R/C car sitting on a shelf in our room right this moment, but if the R/C Jeep by Capo Racing is any indication, we are on the casual end of R/C car enthusiasts.
Capo Racing’s R/C Jeep, which is a 1/8 scale Wrangler, is incredibly detailed. The interior is as accurate as can be and features a light-up instrument panel and NAV screen, while the HEMI V8 under the hood is also identical to the real thing. Additionally, there’s a working three-speed automatic transmission, a working transfer case and locking differentials, metal multi-link suspension and even disc brakes.
The Capo Racing R/C Jeep is one of the most impressive and accurate R/C cars we’ve ever laid eyes on, but it comes at a price. We won’t let you down easy: it’s $2,300. There’s a lot you can do with $2,300, like take a trip to Europe, but why do that when you can pilot a miniature Jeep around your backyard instead?
