We’re situated close to Detroit, and nearly every time we look at the Detroit river, we wonder what could be lurking within its depths. We’re now convinced there’s all sorts of things down there after reading a story out Minnesota involving a second-generation Dodge Ram pickup.
As Carscoops reports, a Minnesota resident was recently fishing on Mayhew Lake when he lowered a camera into the water to look for fish. He instead found a pickup truck and called the Benton County Sheriff’s office, who sent a dive team in and later discovered the truck to have the same license plates as a Dodge pickup that was reported stolen 16 years ago.
Mayhew Lake is a relatively remote body of water all the way out in Minnesota and it has things like a (surprisingly well preserved) Dodge pickup lurking beneath its surface, so what could the Detroit river possibly house? We’re a little scared to know, but at the same time have a temptation to lower a camera under the water and have a gander.
