The 2016 Alfa Romeo Giulietta was spied undergoing tests late last year and has now been caught in the wild once again, this time by Autocar. The new Giulietta will bring updated styling and a more upscale cabin to the nameplate for the new model year, freshening up the now 6-year old hatchback.
The spy photos show a pre-production Giulietta with camouflage over its front and rear fascias and front headlight clusters. This would suggest some minor styling tweaks are in store out front, while the rear will remain mostly the same. Camouflage covering the interior may indicate the addition of more soft-touch materials to the cabin, an updated navigation/infotainment system or new color options.
Under the hood, Autocar is expecting the 2016 Giulietta to employ the same 1.4-liter T-Jet gasoline engine and 2.0-liter MultiJet diesel as before, however they may be tweaked for added efficiency and refinement.
