While Fiat Chrysler’s Mopar division is usually responsible for producing exciting vehicles (like the automaker’s SEMA concepts) and performance parts, they also take care of more mundane parts of car ownership such as buying winter tires and wheels.
This year Mopar has introduced new winter wheel assemblies that include a winter tire, steel rim and a Tire Pressure Monitoring System. The assemblies are delivered mounted and balanced for easy installation at home, or you may pay a little extra to have the dealer put them on for you.
“Mopar is rolling out our first-ever offering of winter wheel assemblies for those customers who desire a little extra control during the cold weather seasons,” said Fiat Chrysler parts and service boss Pietro Gorlier. “The assemblies arrive ready to install and deliver additional peace of mind, even in areas unaffected by the harshest winter weather.”
Winter wheel assemblies are available for many different Fiat Chrysler vehicles including the Dodge Caravan, Dodge Charger, Chrysler Town & Country, Chrysler 300, Chrysler 200 and Jeep Cherokee. Winter tires and wheels will also be available on even more Fiat Chrysler products for next season, the automaker says.
