Chrysler’s C-Body platform debuted in 1965 underneath the then-new Plymouth Fury, but the platform quickly extended across all four Chrysler divisions – spawning Chrysler, Dodge and Imperial model variants before being discontinued in 1977.
The C-Body platform may have been killed off in the early ‘70s, however there are still many Plymouth, Dodge, Chrysler and Imperial owners that love the boat-like models based on the platform. If you’re one of those C-Body loving enthusiasts or own one yourself, you might want to check out the 2016 Chrysler Carlisle Nationals.
The 2016 Nationals will hold a special celebration for C-Body owners, giving them their own corral at the Chrysler-specific event. So whether you own a Fury, Newport, New Yorker, Monaco or other type of C-Body Chrysler, you’ll have a place to show it off when the Chrysler Carlisle Nationals kicks off next June.
