The Bay Area Jeep Association helped ensure underprivileged kids in the region will have a good a holiday season this year by dropping off gifts, food and more to their homes just ahead of Christmas, WJHG reports.
The Jeep enthusiasts had been planning the charitable drive and collected canned goods and toys in order to prepare for it. They say the Jeep community promotes giving back and that BAJA was more than happy to help those in need this year.
“We’re gonna drop off these presents and these food baskets to help them have a better Christmas than probably what they were facing,” said Johnothan Jones, BAJA co-
The kids were elated upon seeing the convoy of Jeeps pull up with their toys and food for the Christmas. One pair of brothers, Bradley and Zakary, were the first family on the list and were especially excited to receive their gifts.
“I’m glad the kids, our kids, have an opportunity to see and feel this moment,” Jones said. “I used to do this with my grandfather. It’s just a good thing.”
