The latest news to emerge out of Maranello is the arrival of the F12 TdF, or ‘Tour de France’. The 599 GTO successor is intended to offer Ferari customers a faster version of the automaker’s two-seat GT while also recalling Tour de France automobile race Ferrari dominated throughout the 1950s and ‘60s.
That’s all well and good, but we know that you just want to hear the F12 TdF’s 6.3-liter V12 sing its siren song. Ferrari knows this too, so they brought the car out to their recent Finali Mondiali event in Italy and had Formula 1 drivers Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonnen put on a proper show for the crowd.
YouTube’s Marchettino was on hand to film the happenings and we’re forever in debt to him for doing so. Hearing the F12 TdF tear up Mugello was enough to make our day, and watching the smoke pour out from the three rear wheel vents is just the cherry on top of the cake. Check it out above.
