This year, the Fiat 500X compact crossover is making its first ever appearance at the zany SEMA Show in Las Vegas – and Mopar is showing how it can enhance the vehicle’s iconic Italian styling and flexible functionality with a variety of performance parts.
The Fiat 500X Chicane Concept uses Mopar performance parts and accessories to show Fiat fans just how much can be done with the crossover. The most obvious change is the oversized 20-inch concept wheels, which are accented by the bright Competition Blue exterior, ‘Chicane’ body side stripes and the Gloss Black contrasting roof. Further enhancing the exterior look is a concept lowering kit from Mopar, giving the 500X Chicane a more planted appearance.
Occupants of the cabin will be greeted by over 100 genuine Mopar accessories, from a bright pedal kit to satin black door sill guards emblazoned with the 500X logo to a cargo management kit. There’s also Katzkin leather seats with accenting blue inserts and blue dashboard and steering wheel inserts.
The 500X Chicane Concept receives power from a standard 2.4-liter MultiAir2 engine, which is paired with Fiat’s nine-speed automatic transmission. Performance mods are limited to a Mopar concept cat-back exhaust and concept exhaust tips.
