With its brash front end, loud available graphics package and huge ‘Ram’ logo on its tailgate, the 2015 Ram Rebel makes quite the statement. The automaker has upped the ante for the 2015 SEMA Show, however, gracing the truck with Mopar’s catalog of performance parts to create the even louder Ram Rebel X.
The Ram Rebel X will command attention on the show floor at SEMA thanks to its dark Copper exterior finish, Mopar wheel flares extend, 17-inch cast-aluminum beadlock wheels shod in 35-inch Toyo tires and Mopar center caps. Also setting it apart from standard versions of the truck is a concept two-piece skid plate, a soft tri-fold tonneau cover and a Mopar bed step.
Black side steps give the driver and passengers easy access to the cabin, where they will be greeted by Katzkin leather seats with Rebel C embroidered logos, Copper stitching and a Mopar pedal kit, all-weather slush mats and and door sills.
Under the hood is the same 5.7-liter HEMI V8 found in the production Ram Rebel, however in the Rebel X it’s been milidy upgraded with a cold-air intake, cat-back exhaust and exhaust tips. There’s also a concept air ride suspension system to help smooth things out when the going gets rough.
