Fiat Chrysler Automobiles has collaborated with Warner Music Group, Universal Music Group and Sony Music on a number of promotions aired and featured on the 2015 American Music Awards telecast.
The different promotions, which aired as part of Fiat Chrysler’s second year as the official Automotive sponsor of the American Music Awards, included a Fiat Chrysler sponsored music video from pop singer Charlie Puth, 60-second and 30-second commercial spots, and a ‘#DriveTheBeat’ hashtag promotion.
“For the second year, FCA is taking automotive ownership of the American Music Awards, this time aligning with not one, but the world’s three most powerful music companies and the biggest names in the recording industry, to create custom music content that leverages itself against the strength and diversity of our brand portfolio,” said Fiat Chrysler Chief Marketing Officer Olivier Francois.
The music video, which also features country star Brett Eldredge, singer Ty Dolla $ign and Latin pop singer Sofia Reyes, features Fiat Chyrsler vehicles throughout. The opening and closing scenes feature a Fiat 500X, while a Dodge Charger, Jeep Renegade, Chrysler 200 and Ram Rebel are also shown extensively.
