You may have seen those 360-degree videos that are becoming increasingly popular across the Internet. They are essentially what you would experience in an Oculus Rift or similar type virtual reality headset, and they are making the already awesome selection of automotive videos on the internet that much better.
Autoblog’s ‘Translogic’ web show used this 360-degre video tech to showcase their recent drive an electrically-converted 1978 Ferrari 308 GTS, which received the powertrain replacement via electric vehicle experts EV West.
The tech gives us a unique look at the Ferrari 308 GTS, allowing us to look around freely as host Jonathon Buckley drives the electric supercar around Willow Springs Raceway. It’s hard to put the experience into words, so check it out in the video below.
