Maserati has teamed up with luxury renowned fashion house Ermenegildo Zegna to offer natural silk fiber seats in its Quattroporte and Ghibli sedans, Stuff.co.nz reports.
This isn’t the first collaboration between Ermenegildo Zegna and Maserati. The two Italian luxury brands previously worked together on a 1 of 100 limited-edition version of the Quattroporte, which also featured silk inserts throughout its cabin.
Now all Maseratis can have Ermenegildo Zegna’s renowned silk fabric optioned. The silk material is an $11,000 to $22,000 option, depending on the color chosen and whether they are applied to the Ghibli or Quattroporte.
Special Mulberry silk will be used for the seating upholstery, while Poltrona Frau leather will serve as the outer trim. The silk itself is only available in Anthracite grey, however it may be combined with a choice of contrasting leather colors for greater differentiation.
