The well-known Ferrari-Maserati dealer situated inside the Wynn Las Vegas casino and hotel has closed down, Automotive News reports.
The dealer, which was in business for 10 years before shutting down shop, was the result of a business partnership between the Penske Automotive Group and the Wynn Las Vegas. A spokesperson for Penske said the dealer has been sold to a new owner and will reopen at a different location once the deal has been finalized.
Penske did not disclose sales figures for the Wynn Ferrari-Maserati dealer as the dealer group does not publish sales figures for individual dealerships, but did say volume was “irrelevant,” in the decision to sell the storefront. The company didn’t name the buyer of the dealer, either, as the sale has yet to be set in stone.
The Wynn Ferrari-Maserati storefront was well known as it gave casino attendees the opportunity to look at the wide range of Ferraris on display in its 10,000 square-foot space or – less frequently, buy one of the valuable supercars. The Wynn has yet to say what retailer will fill the large space, but told AN they are “working on something special,” for it.
