If you’ve never heard of the Four Wheeler Ultimate Adventure, allow us to explain. It’s essentially a week-long off-roading adventure in which the readers, staff and sponsors of the Four Wheeler Network of publications take a 1000-mile road trip and hit an off-road trail each and every day of the adventure.
For an extreme event like that, Dirt Everday host Fred Williams knew he needed something special. He decided to rip a 550 horsepower 6.2-liter supercharged GM LSA engine out of a Chevy truck he had sitting around and drop it into a custom-built Jeep CJ he and his team worked tirelessly on – making for one of the coolest Jeeps on the excursion.
Check out the build in the video above, and if you think you have what it takes to survive the Four Wheeler Ultimate Adventure, you can apply to join Fred and the gang on next year’s trip at this link.
